But really… why are you shouting?

In January of 1990, a monstrosity was born. The world would soon know this monstrosity as Kendra Doshier – but to cyberspace and the North Korean government, she is known as Kendrus. As a toddler, she screamed. A lot. As a child, she was an awkward, precocious, baby troll. Since she was about 4 years old, she has expressed a passion for writing, performing, creativity, and being a sasshole. Throughout her high school career, she was a staff writer for the Anchorage Daily News column Perfect World, participated in show choir and musical theatre, and studied abroad in Naples, Italy for an entire year in 2005.

In May of 2012, Kendra graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Trinity University. In her college career, she worked for the campus TV station, was published multiple times in the Trinitonian, composed over 30 multi-part a cappella songs for her all-female a cappella group, directed one-acts and short films, and relentlessly harassed the Dean of Students.

She spends her time writing, editing film projects, composing music, and searching for adventures that are totally fun and safe in theory, then weaseling her way out of the consequences when reality gets in the way. Creativity is her motivation, and she will do everything in her power to sustain the integrity and priority of it. She is a dreamer, a doer, a performer, a troll, and a creative juice box. Kendra is well known for her snarky commentary on Twitter, her musical endeavors, her activity within independent film networks, and generally Houdini-ing her way through life.

I feel like writing this in 3rd person makes me an asshole. I’m glad you agree.

Cheers,
Kendrus
